The National Association of Basketball Coaches selected Hartwick College men’s basketball player Jared Suderley to its Division III All-America Teams on Wednesday.
Senior forward Suderley made the Third Team, marking his second NABC All-America honor in his four seasons at Hartwick. He also made the NABC’s Second Team following the 2011-12 season.
Suderley was one of eight Third Team picks on the All-America Teams, which featured 24 Division III players that are voted on by NCAA D-III member coaches of the NABC.
The all-time scoring and rebounding leader at Hartwick, Suderley also has earned Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year, E8 Tournament MVP, D3hoops.com All-East Region First Team and NABC All-District First Team accolades this season.
Suderley, who led the Hawks in scoring for the fourth straight season, also will participate in the Reese’s Division III College All-Star game this weekend.
Hartwick went 18-10 this season under coach Todd McGuinness, who led the Hawks to the E8 Tournament title and an automatic berth to the NCAA D-III Tournament.

The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association recognized Hartwick senior guard Maria Foglia as an honorable mention for its All-America Team, the Hawks announced Thursday.
Foglia’s first All-America award follows her third straight Empire 8 Conference First Team honor after helping the Hawks to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament as an at-large selection.
Foglia led Hartwick in three-pointers (50), free throws (122) and assists (79) this season. She also finished second on the team in scoring (15.0 points per game) and rebounding (5.0 pg).
Foglia ranks fourth in Hartwick scoring with 1,540 points in four seasons. She is second in all-time three-pointers (162) and holds the program record for most free throws made (476).
