Ally Naja, Ali Sisco, Lauren Rosenberg, Meg Luce and Kia Ference scored for host Hartwick College during its 9-5 non-conference women’s lacrosse loss to Keuka College on Wednesday.
Luce’s goal with eight minutes left in the first half gave the Hawks a 4-3 lead. Hartwick expanded its lead to 5-3 when Ference scored with 3:48 left in the half.
But Keuka (2-1) scored six times in the second half while holding Hartwick scoreless.
Keuka led in shots, 20-18, but Hartwick had advantages of 26-23 in groundballs and 9-7 in faceoffs.
Hartwick goalie Steph Luce finished with four saves and three groundballs.
The Hawks (4-5) will play at 4 p.m. Friday at Elmira College.
Chris Braim followed an opening-round 73 with a 77 to earn medalist honors and lead SUNY Delhi’s B squad to victory in the Lynchburg Invitational on Sunday and Monday at London Downs Golf Course in Virginia.
Delhi’s B team finished with 620 strokes, beating the Broncos’ A squad by 10 in the nine-team invitational. Bluefield State placed third with 635 strokes.
Delhi’s A team was led by James Partridge, who shot rounds of 73 and 78 to finish tied for second with Bluefield’s Morgan Brewster – one shot behind Braim on the par-72, 6,938-yard layout.
Kyle Lewis of Delhi’s B team contributed a two-day total of 155 that included a second-round 75 to place tied for seventh.
Eric Walling finished with 156 strokes for the Delhi A team, and Tyler Ramie and Cody Homer finished at 159 for the B team.
The Broncos will compete in the McDaniel College Invitational at the Bridges Golf Club this weekend in Abbottstown, Pa.

Liam Brown’s 6-4, 6-4 loss to Tanner Hahn at third singles was the closest the Hawks came to a victory.
