Walton’s boys won five events, but Greene scored 103 points to earn the team title during a five-way Midstate Athletic Conference meet at Delhi.

Walton finished with 84 points, followed by Unadilla Valley at 59.5, Deposit at 59 and Delhi at 27.

Dylan Thompson paced the Storm with wins in the 1,600-meter run (4 minutes, 55.6 seconds) and the 3,200 (10:58.2).

Nicole Mackey and Hunter Lakin doubled up to lead UV’s girls to 76 points, earning first place by four over Greene. Delhi had 70 points, followed by Walton at 54 and Deposit at 37.

Mackey placed first in the 800 (2:53.1) and the triple jump (28-11). Lakin won the 3,000 (14:08.1) and the 400 hurdles (1:33.5).
