Charlie Dietrich and Tyler Phillips scored Saturday to lead Roxbury to a victory in the first round of the Hunter-Tannersville Tournament.
Dietrich opened the scoring off a cross from Beau O’Donnell with 10 minutes left in the first half.
The Rockets got an insurance goal with 30 seconds left as Phillips converted a cross in the box from Kris Walcutt.
Ryan Radcliffe made eight saves for the Wildcats, who were stopped seven times by winning goalie Jacob Davis.
The Rockets advanced to the championship game against Stamford this Saturday. Hunter-Tannersville will meet Windham in the consolation game.
