• Cooperstown’s Liz Millea scored three goals Tuesday to push her season total to 12, which was tied for the most by an area girls soccer player after Tuesday’s games. Wednesday’s edition of The Daily Star identified Oneonta High’s Taryn More, who also scored her 12th goal of the season Tuesday, as the area goals leader and did not credit Millea as a co-leader.

• Unatego’s Kellen Komenda led area high school football players in receiving yards with 233 on 11 catches after last week’s games, based on statistics reported to The Daily Star. Unatego quarterback Josh Feyerabend was mistakenly identified as the area receiving leader in Tuesday’s edition of The Daily Star. Komenda was mistakenly credited with 103 receiving yards on five catches, which are the statistics for teammate Kyle Spaulding, who was not listed.

• The following names were misspelled in the scoring leaders that appeared in Tuesday’s edition of The Daily Star:

The last name of Edmeston boys soccer player Linton Wainright (typo).

The last name of Oneonta girls soccer player Taylor Hitchcock (typo).

The first name of Gilbertsville-Mount Upton girls soccer player Tayler Nichols (incorrect on team roster).

The first name of Margaretville boys soccer player Colby Russo (typo).

The first name of Stamford boys soccer player Colby Fancher (incorrect on team roster).

The first name of Unatego girls soccer player Torri Halaquist (typo).

• Coaches are encouraged to report mistakes that may appear in high school statistics throughout the season by calling 607-432-1000 after 4 p.m. weekdays or by emailing Sports Editor Dean Russin at
