Ryan Telian contributed 91 yards and a touchdown on the ground for the Bulldogs (3-4, 3-2), who are tied with Walton (5-2, 3-2) and Deposit-Hancock (4-3, 3-2) in the Division V standings. Unatego (6-1) leads with a 5-0 division record.

Delhi quarterback Conner Gioffe went 1-for-4, but his completion was a 56-yard scoring strike to Trey Mostert in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs’ Week 8 opponent will be determined later this week.

Tioga 34, Sidney 8

Tioga held Sidney quarterback Patrick Vibbard to 50 passing yards as the Warriors lost a Section Four Football Conference game on the road Friday.

Vibbard, who went 6-for-24 with an interception, maintained his lead as the area’s passing leader with 1,162 yards on the season. He’s 2 yards ahead of Unatego’s Josh Feyerabend, who threw for 199 in a 45-19 victory at Unadilla Valley on Friday.

Jesse Manuel, Brad Jump and Tanner Folk accounted for all of the Tigers’ scoring. Manuel finished with 221 rushing yards and three touchdowns; Jump had a 50-yard interception return for a TD and 143 rushing yards — including a 58-yard TD run; and Folk kicked four extra points for the Division VI leaders (7-0, 5-0).

Sidney (4-3, 3-2) avoided the shutout when Tanner Schunk scored on an 11-yard run in the fourth quarter. Brandon Bessett followed with a two-point conversion run to cap the scoring.

Mike Chase had 66 rushing yards, Bessett contributed 62, and Jordan Constable and Dylan Gifford each had two catches for 25 yards for the Warriors, whose Week 8 opponent will be determined later this week.

Unatego 45, UV 19

Kellen Komenda caught three passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns to lead visiting Unatego to a Section Four Football Conference win Friday night.

The bulk of Josh Feyerabend’s 199 passing yards came in the first quarter, when he hit Tanner Winchester for an 81-yard TD pass and Komenda for a 75-yarder.

The Spartans (6-1, 5-0) also got special teams touchdowns from Winchester (41-yard punt return) and Komenda (80-yard kickoff return) in the Division V victory.
