Oneonta jumped to a 4-0 lead in the second game. Whittam homered in the first before O-State scored three times in the second as Nichole Paolino hit a two-run double and Brianna Rivera had an RBI single.

Brocco doubled in two of Oneonta’s three runs in the fourth to make it 6-2 for the Red Dragons, who got three hits from Kristyn Neroda and two apiece from Brocco, Whittam and Katie O’Gorman.

Katie O’Flynn struck out three in 4 1/3 innings for her first pitching win of the season.
