OBGC to host basketball clinic

The Oneonta Boys and Girls Club will host a free Adaptive Basketball Clinic from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

This program is for children and young adults with disabilities. Hartwick College basketball players will working with participants on various skills. Participants will receive a medal and share pizza with the volunteers at the end of the clinic.

O-State soccer camp starts Monday

The Oneonta State men’s soccer team will host an indoor/outdoor soccer camp for youths in grades 2-11 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Cost is $80 per camper or $20 per day. Registration will take place Monday at O-State’s Alumni Field House. All pick-ups and drop-offs take place at the same location.

Campers will have access to the Chase pool and may purchase a pizza lunch for $4 per day.

The camp serves as a fundraiser for the Red Dragons upcoming trip to Barcelona.

Hartwick soccer camp starts Monday

Hartwick College will host its Jr. Hawks Spring Break Soccer Camp from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The camp is for bys and girls ages 6-12. Cost is $20 per day per camper.

Oneonta to host Pitch, Hit & Run

The City of Oneonta will host a local qualifier for the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition from 5-7 p.m. April 25 at Oneonta Little League’s Doc Knapp Field.

Participation is free and open to boys and girls ages 7-14 as of July 17, 2014.

Each child must have a parent/guardian complete a registration form, which is available at the recreation office or from Oneonta Little League coaches.
