Oneonta State limited to one hit by Oswego left-hander


In the second game, Lichenstein had two hits, including an RBI double, and Marlene Cuevas also had two hits, including a two-run triple, for O-State before the game was called.

O-State (15-8, 5-2) will travel to Brockport for a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Sunday.

GOLFCobleskill Invitational

Don Cervantes earned medalist honors with a 2-over-par 73 to lead SUNY Cobleskill’s A team to victory in the Cobleskill’s Spring Invitational at the Canajoharie Golf and Country Club.

The Fighting Tigers’ Travis Deuel and Ryan Whitaker finished second and third, respectively. Deuel shot a 75, one stroke better than Whitaker.

Cobleskill’s A team finished with 305 strokes, the second-best total in the program’s history. Cobleskill’s B team finished second with 341 strokes, followed by Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (361), Morrisville State (367) and Keuka (378).

James Sullivan led Cobleskill’s B team with an 81.

Cobleskill will compete in the Bronco Invitational at SUNY Delhi on Saturday and Sunday.
