Woman aces 11 at Ouleout

Carol Ronovech hit a hole-in-one on the 11th hole at the Ouleout Creek Golf Course last Sunday.

Ronovech used a 7-iron. The shot was witnessed by John Moylan.

Delhi College GC opens Sunday

The Delhi College Golf Course will open to the public at noon Sunday.

Pre-season conditions are in effect. The course is offering special rates through Friday, including $25 for an 18-hole greens fee and cart.

The course will host the Bronco Invitational this weekend, the Section Four Class D Championships on May 22, and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Girls Golf Championships from June 14-15.

Golf league to meet April 21

The Afton Monday Morning Men’s Golf League will meet at 8 a.m. April 21 at the Afton Golf Course.

Anyone interested in playing should be present.

Kids play for free at OCC

The Oneonta Country Club will offer free golf to children of members this season.

Introductory individual memberships cost $795 per year. Spouses may be included at a total family cost of $1,295.

The OCC also will offer a summer membership at the Oneonta Tennis Club featuring indoor and outdoor tennis as well as outdoor pool privileges from May 1 to Labor Day. For more information, call the OCC at 607-432-8950 or visit the website oneontacountryclub.org.

Covered Bridge Run is June 7

The 19th annual Delhi Covered Bridge Run is set for June 7. The event features a 10-kilometer run, a 5K run and a 5K health walk.

Entry forms are online at www.clasiladies.com/delhi-covered-bridge-run.html. Entry fee is $20 for those who sign up online and $25 at the race. Long-sleeved T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register before May 1.

Proceeds will fund two scholarships to Delaware County graduating seniors and the Catskill Mountain Club for building hiking trails in Delaware County.
