Bowling tourney starts April 26

Cobleskill Family Bowling will host a super sweeper tournament April 26-27.

Qualifying rounds will be held at 1 and 4 p.m. April 26. The top five qualifiers will return April 27 to compete in a stepladder final.

First place is guaranteed $2,000 for this scratch, singles tournament.

Entry forms are available at local bowling centers and online at www.bestwesterncobleskill.com/bowling.

Soccer club to host tournament

The Oneonta Soccer Club will host its second annual I-88 Challenge Soccer Tournament from April 26-27 at the Wright National Soccer Campus in Oneonta.

Approximately 50 teams from New York and Pennsylvania will compete in the U8-U16 divisions for boys and girls.

SADD run set for April 27

The 16th annual SADD Strides For Safety 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair will be held April 27 at Oneonta High.

Registration and the health fair begins at 11:30 a.m. The race starts at 1 p.m.

Fee is $15 before April 27 and $20 on race day. Those registering by April 1 will be guaranteed an event T-shirt. Registration forms are available at schools in Oneonta, Franklin and Unatego, or by going online at www.oneontacsd.org/news.cfm.

Softball registration under way

The Adult Summer Softball League in Oneonta will hold open registration for the 2014 season through April 30.

Registration costs $600 per team and includes forfeit bond and liability fee. Money should be sent to Louie Barnes, P.O. Box 925, Oneonta, NY 13820.

Softball league starts April 30

The Clark Sports Center is accepting registrations for its 2014 Co-Ed Softball League, which starts April 30.

Cost is $400 per team and all participants must be ages 18 or older and out of high school.
