Rain postponed Oneonta Post 259’s game at Whitney Point/Hillcrest.

Oneonta coach Mike Jester said the game may not be rescheduled, although both teams are trying to find a date that will accommodate their schedules.

The Green Wave play at Union-Endicott at 6 p.m. today. U-E will then visit Oneonta for a 6 p.m. game Thursday at Oneonta High. The latter game is a make-up from earlier this season as several of U-E’s Legion players were busy competing for the high school team in the Class AA state tournament.

Outlaws President of Operations Steve Pindar said via email that the first game of Monday’s doubleheader has been rescheduled to 3 p.m. Wednesday, two hours before a regularly scheduled meeting between Oneonta and host Sherrill (8-7).

Monday’s second game has a similar fate, turning their July 17 meeting into a 3 p.m. doubleheader at Sherrill. Both doubleheaders will be two seven-inning games.

The Outlaws (7-6) and the Silversmiths (8-7) were fourth and fifth, respectively, entering Monday’s games.

Oneonta is scheduled to host an exhibition game against the Albany Athletics at 7 tonight at Damaschke Field.
