Gilbertsville-Mount Upton graduates Tanya Barnes and Bri Lambert scored in double figures, but SUNY Delhi fell to Mountain Valley Conference host Hudson Valley.
Barnes finished with 19 points and nine rebounds for the Broncos (14-15), who received 11 points and six rebounds from Lambert.
“We took the lead with probably eight minutes to go, then they went on an 18-3 run and kind of pulled away,” said Delhi coach Amber Devantier, whose team trailed, 31-25, at halftime. “We were giving up second-chance points. They got four or five second-chance baskets in a row (during the run).”
Delhi closes its regular season at 1 p.m. Saturday against visiting Clinton.
