After trailing by three after one quarter, the Wildcats outscored RS, 17-2, in the second quarter. VanWarner had all seven of his points _ two baskets coming off of steals and a three-pointer.
Peyton Griffiths finished with a game-high 17 points for Milford (8-2), which will play host to defending Tri-Valley League champion Morris on Friday.
Joseph Kelly had 10 points to lead the Indians.
Morris 59, Franklin 35
Cody Myers fueled a 16-9 second-quarter run by hitting all three of his three-pointers to help visiting Morris to a Tri-Valley League victory.
Morris led, 10-9, after one quarter before Myers’ shooting helped the Mustangs extend their advantage to 26-18 at halftime.
Mike DeLuca had a team-high 13 points and Myers and Levi Decker each finished with 11 points for Morris.
Franklin freshman Derek Beers scored 16 points to lead Franklin (2-6, 1-6), which will travel to Edmeston on Friday.
