Ouleout leagues to meet April 1

All Ouleout Creek Golf Course leagues will hold their organizational meetings at 6 p.m. April 1 at the clubhouse.

Junior golf clinics set

Catskill Mountains Junior Golf, a new organization, will offer a major junior golf programs at the Meadows Golf Center in Margaretville and Ouleout Creek Golf Course in North Franklin this year.

The courses will host junior golf clinic days, a championship day and a parent/junior tournament in July.

The main program will be followed by a season-ending banquet and awards day at Mine Kill State Park in North Blenheim.

The program is open to youths ages 5-17 and focuses on learning how to play, rules, etiquette and proper dress, among other things.

O-State to host soccer camp

The Oneonta State men’s soccer team will host an indoor/outdoor soccer camp from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 25-28.

Cost is $80 per camper or $20 per day. Registration will take place at Alumni Field House. All pick-ups and drop-offs will be at the same location.

The Chase pool will be available to those interested in swimming. Campers may purchase a pizza lunch at $4 per day.

Designed for boys and girls in grades 1-8, the camp serves as a fundraiser for the men’s team.

Wick to host biddy basketball

Hartwick College will hold its Biddy Basketball Program from 6-9 p.m. Friday and April 19.

The program is for youths in grades 1-8 and costs $15 per session.

City softball starts soon

The Oneonta Recreation Department will accept registrations for its men’s and women’s softball leagues from Friday to April 26.
