She also won 17 faceoffs and had four assists.

Against Houghton, Jweid had five goals and three assists. The next day she scored her college high of six goals and won 10 faceoffs.

For the season, Jweid leads Hartwick in goals (15), points (20) and faceoffs (29).

Hartwick (3-3) will travel to Keuka College at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Hawks of the Week

Jweid joined senior swimmer Kenny Kleso as Hartwick’s Hawks of the Week.

Kleso earned honorable mention All-America honors for top 16 finishes in an individual event and a relay during the NCAA Division III championships.

He also set three Hartwick records. Kleso finished 12th in the 500-yard freestyle in a school-record time of 4 minutes, 29.57 seconds. Kleso also broke Hartwick’s record in the 200 free, finishing 24th in 1:40.16.

As a member of the Hawks’ 800 free relay that finished 14th, Kleso helped Hartwick to a school-record time of 6:45.14.
