Cooperstown 4, F-S 1
Jordian Siver’s three goals came in the first half, helping host Cooperstown to a 4-1 halftime lead and a victory in the Center State Conference.
Siver and Liz Millea scored off of corner-kick plays for a 2-0 lead in favor of Cooperstown (4-1, 3-1), which received 12 saves from Katie Kleban.
Cooperstown hosts Dolgeville on Tuesday.
Unatego 4, Oxford 1
Torri Halaquist converted a penalty kick and scored again in the first half as Unatego rode a 3-1 halftime lead to a Midstate Athletic Conference road win.
Tanner Reed and Bethany Blake also scored for the Spartans (3-2, 2-0), who held a 21-2 advantage in shots.
Unatego plays Duanesburg at 11 a.m. Saturday in the consolation game of the Kyle Sharpe Tournament. At the same time, tournament host Schoharie will play St. Johnsville for the title.
Delhi 1, B-G 0
Casey Steffens’ unassisted goal with 24:32 left in the first half stood as Delhi won a MAC game on the road.
Steffens beat Bainbridge-Guilford goalie Megan Ferrara (11 saves) with a high shot to the left corner, completing a scoring play that started with a Delhi throw-in.
Kaitlynn Finch stopped 11 shots for the Bulldogs, who won despite getting outshot, 17-14.
The Bobcats host Oxford on Monday.
Sidney 2, UV 1
Mackensie Gravelin had a goal and an assist to lead host Sidney to a MAC victory.
Gravelin set up Jenna McDonald for a 12-yard shot that beat Unadilla Valley goalie Abbie Oglesby (13 saves) to the far post with 19:32 left in the first half.
Taylor Davis tied it for the Storm right minutes after halftime, but Gravelin scored the decisive goal with 20:28 left.
Jolene Krom also made 13 saves for Sidney (3-4, 2-1), which visits Oxford on Monday.
Greene 4, Walton 1
Kimmy Huntress scored, but the host Warriors fell to Greene in the MAC.
Huntress shot from inside the box to the far post with four minutes left before halftime as Hayley O’Connor earned the assist.
