The FAM 5K, which supports Catholic Charities of Schoharie County, awards FAM Funds mutual fund shares to the male and female winners in several age categories. A kids' run also will be held.
The FAM 5K also hosts the USATF Adirondack 5K Open Men’s Road Race Championship.
Complimentary fruit, bagels, drinks, music and massage therapists will be available for participants. Brooks' BBQ chicken will be available to purchase.

Norwich to host 5K run/walk
Norwich will host an inaugural 5K run/walk to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation at 9 a.m. Sept. 28 at East Park.
Registration is open on St. Baldrick's website, www.stbaldricks.org/events/2013Norwich5K.
Pre-registration is $20 for adults and $15 for students. Registration on the day of the event will be $25 for adults and $20 for students.
The top three men and women in the adult (18-and-older), student (17-and-under) and senior (50-and-older) categories will receive awards for the 5K run. The top three men and women in the 5K walk also will receive awards.

Youth conditioning classes set
The Oneonta Family YMCA will offer Youth Sports Conditioning at the Center Street School gym from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The program is open to area youths in grades 6 through age 18 and runs through Dec. 13.
