OHS girls rout JC, 8-1


CV-S 2, RS 0

Lauren Loucks had a goal and an assist after halftime to lead visiting Cherry Valley-Springfield in the Tri-Valley League.

Jordan Loucks scored in the second half for the Patriots, who enjoyed a 29-3 advantage in shots.

Vanessa Miller stoppped 21 shots for Richfield Springs.


CV-S 4, Richfield Springs 0

Jake Spencer and Wyatt Crowley scored goals in the opening eight minutes as host Cherry Valley-Springfield cruised to a Tri-Valley League victory.

Crowley set up Spencer’s goal 4 ½ minutes into play. Crowley sent a crossing pass to Spencer from the left side and Spencer scored to the far post. Pressley then sent a crossing pass that Crowley finished with 32:08 left in the first half.

Ben Drugatz scored twice before the first half ended for the Patriots, who improved to 10-1 overall and 10-0 in league play.

CV-S will play at Schenevus on Friday.

Sidney 4, Walton 1

Justin Charles scored 14 seconds into play and finished with two goals and an assist to lead visiting Sidney to a Midstate Athletic Conference win.

Sidney was outshot, 21-8, but received 15 saves from Wyatt McKee.

Charles’ first goal came on an 8-yard shot on the first possession. Charles then assisted Anthony Ruling’s goal from 10 yards to make it 2-0 with 25 minutes left in the first half. Ruling finished with two goals.

Nate Pieper scored for Walton.

Walton (8-3, 6-3) will visit Greene on Wednesday.

Schenevus 5, Worcester 1

David Vosatka scored three goals to lead host Schenevus to a Tri-Valley League victory. Vosatka, who has a team-high 15 goals, scored two minutes in on a breakaway from 10 yards.

Jacob Darling made it 2-0 with 11 minutes left in the first half off a throughball from Jordan Burton. Corey Roseboom also had a goal for the Dragons (6-4-2, 6-4-1), who will host Cherry Valley-Springfield on Friday. 

George Clements scored for Worcester. His goal made it 3-1 10 minutes into the second half.
