CV-S girls win at Edmeston

 Bullis scored 14 points in the first half, which ended with the Bobcats up, 29-11. 

 Abbey Smith contributed nine points and five steals for B-G (5-5, 3-2), which will play at Walton on Friday.

 Unatego 46, Delhi 9

Casey Manzanero led Unatego with 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Spartans cruised in the Midstate Athletic Conference.

Sarah Mannina scored seven points as Unatego opened a 15-0 lead in the first quarter. Mannina also had seven assists.

Robin Foster had nine points and eight rebounds for Unatego (6-2, 4-0), which will travel to Harpursville at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Cooperstown 61, Sauquoit Valley 23

Cooperstown’s Elizabeth Millea scored 13 points and had seven steals in the Redskins’ Center State Conference home victory.

Sumer Murdock contributed a game-high 18 points.  She scored eight in the first quarter, which ended with Cooperstown leading, 14-0.

Nicole Cring contributed 11 for the Redskins (8-1, 4-0), who will play at Sherburne-Earlville on Friday.  

Next up for Cooperstown is a road game against Sherburne-Earlville.

 BOWLING

at Laurel Bowl

Amy Hait and Abigail Loucks had 564 and 554 series, respectively, but Oneonta High’s girls lost, 4-1, to Johnson City in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference.

Hait had a high game of 209. Loucks rolled a 191 and Emily Loucks had 224 game.

Oneonta High’s boys lost, 5-0. Chris Hamilton led the Yellowjackets with a 526 series that included a 205 game.

The Yellowjackets will travel to Sunset Lanes to face Windsor on Tuesday.

at 20th Century Lanes

Sidney girls beat Greene, 3-1, but Greene’s boys beat Sidney by the same margin in the Midstate Athletic Conference.

Zach Nages had a 612 series to lead Sidney’s boys.

Marina Mazzarella had a 528 series to lead the Warriors’ girls.

Sidney hosts Bainbridge-Guilford on Friday.
