Delhi announces pool hours
SUNY Delhi’s Kunsela Pool will be open at the following days and times through March 17.
Monday-Friday: Lap swim 7-8 a.m., 11 am.-1 p.m.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: Lap swim, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: Open swim, 8:30-10 p.m.
Wednesday: Lap swim, 6-7 p.m.; Open swim, 9-10 p.m.
Friday: Open swim, 7-9 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: Open swim, 1-5 p.m.
The pool will close for mid-winter break after the evening swim Feb. 28 and re-open March 11.
Registration for spring swim lessons will run from 9 a.m.-noon March 16.
Lifeguard training will start March 18. Cost is $270.
Youth soccer forms
Registration forms for the Oneonta Youth Soccer Association’s spring recreational program will be distributed through Oneonta elementary schools and are due Friday. Forms also are available at Latte Lounge on Main Street in Oneonta.
The program is open to youths in grades K-3 who attend school or live in the Oneonta City School District. For more information, email Geoff Davis at email@example.com.
Gun shows continue March 3
The Midstate Arms Collectors and Shooters Club will host gun and knife shows from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on the following dates.
March 3: Oneonta Gun Show at Holiday Inn ($2 admission)
Aug. 11: Unadilla Gun Show and Flea Market at Unadilla Rod & Gun Club (free admission)
Oct. 13: Lisle Gun Show at Lise Fire Co. ($3 admission)
Nov. 3: Oneonta Gun Show at Holiday Inn ($2 admission)
Table reservations cost $15 and must be paid by cash in advance.

Girls AAU tryouts
start March 3
The Catskill Mountain Girls Basketball Club will hold AAU tryouts on three dates in March.
Tryouts for players in grades 6-8 will run from 12:30-2 p.m. March 3, 10 and 17. Tryouts for players in grades 9-11 will follow from 2-3:30 p.m. each day.
Registration begins 30 minutes before tryouts. A non-refundable tryout fee of $25 is required and covers AAU registration and expenses.
Player participation fee for 2013 is $300 and covers the cost of tournament player registration and uniforms. This fee must be paid upon a player’s selection on the second day of tryouts.
