Justin Hofer had four three-pointers and 19 points, but Unadilla Valley lost in the first round of the Sherburne-Earlville Tournament.
Daniel Morse had 19 points, Chris Russell scored 17 and Matt Thompson finished with 12 for Tully, which made eight three-pointers.
“I knew that the Morse kid was a good player, so we put the focus on him,” UV coach Matt Osborne said. “He only had six points in the second half, but Russell and (Thomas) Burt lit it up from the three-point line.”
UV (0-1) plays at 5:30 Saturday in the consolation game against host S-E, which lost to Cortland on Friday.
Harpursville 55, G-MU 21
Tim French scored 11 points for Gilbertsville-Mount Upton, which opened its season with a non-conference road loss.
Devon Dean’s game-high 14 points paced Harpursville (1-1).
G-MU is at Delhi next Friday.
Edmeston 52, Brookfield 38
Lucas Miller had a game-high 14 points to lead host Edmeston to a non-league victory.
Cody Beeching scored a team-high 12 points for Brookfield.
Logan Vibbard contributed 11 points, seven steals and five assists for the Panthers (1-0), who host Worcester on Dec. 11.
Gilboa 68, Schenevus 51
Zach Perry scored a team-high 19 points to lead visiting Gilboa to a non-league victory.
Hunter Grace and Christian Cooper contributed 13 points apiece for the Wildcats, who held a 38-25 lead at halftime.
Kevin Weinert had a game-high 23 points and a team-high 10 rebounds for Schenevus, which received 16 points from Robert Burton.
