O-State to host baseball clinics

Oneonta State will host two high school baseball clinics at Alumni Field House this winter.

The Red Dragons will hold a pitchers/catchers clinic Jan. 27 and a hitting/defense clinic Feb. 3. Registration for both runs from 11:15 a.m.-noon, followed by the clinic from noon-3 p.m. Cost is $35 per camper for one clinic or $60 per camper for both.

Golf league starts Monday

Colonial Ridge Golf in Laurens is accepting sign-ups for its winter simulator golf league.

Two-person teams compete weekly in a captain-and-mate format. Play starts Monday and runs through the week of March 25-29. Playing times are flexible as teams may on weekdays of their choice from week to week.

Weekly fees are $10 per person. A one-time fee of $20 per person is also required to pay for prize money (110-percent cash payout).
