Late rallies lift Oneonta State to baseball sweep


Jim Hegmann (1-1) earned the pitching win by scattering two hits in 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. He struck out four.

Oneonta visits New Paltz for its SUNY Athletic Conference opener Tuesday.


Mitchell 11, Cobleskill 7

Shane Sullivan scored four goals and Jordan Cook had three Wednesday to lead host Mitchell College (6-2) to a non-conference victory.

Mike Janavey paced SUNY Cobleskill (2-1) with three goals and Dan Scott finished with two goals and an assist.

Goalie Eric Randazzo made 15 saves for the Fighting Tigers, who visit Hilbert College at 2 p.m. Saturday.
