Hancock scored nine runs over the last two innings to earn a road victory in the Midstate Athletic Conference.

Caitlin Wormuth went 3-for-4 with four runs and Brooke Sherburne contributed two hits, including a triple and four RBIs to pace the Wildcats.

Kelsey Decker had a triple for Sidney (0-1, 0-1).

Catherine Johnson threw a two-hitter and struck out 16 to lead Edmeston to victory at home in the Tri-Valley League.

Caitlyn Talbot and Sydney Smith each had two hits for the Panthers.

Edmeston (2-0, 2-0) hosts Unadilla Valley on Friday.

Jana Trevor went 3-for-3 and scored five runs, and teammate Cinnizia Reese had three hits and three RBIs for Gilboa (1-0).

Becky Fallon had a double for Stamford.

Gilboa travels to Margaretville on Thursday.

Worcester scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to overcome a one-run deficit and secure a non-league victory.

Summer Ritty, Michaela Wright, Jillian Perrillo, Madison Wright and Kristina Welsh all had two hits for Worcester. Winning pitcher Monica Ridgeway struck out five.

Elissa Starheim went 3-for-4 and Emily Irwin contributed two hits for Jefferson.
