OHS boys rally to beat Dryden, 3-1


Baskin finished the 3.1-mile course in 17 minutes, 45 seconds – three seconds faster than Mancuso.

“Sam and Logan have a good chance at qualiyfing for states,” Oneonta coach Dan Forbes said.

Ithaca’s Dan Dracup won the race in 16:18. Corning won the title with 44 points.

Amelia French’s 46th-place finished pace the OHS girls, who finished 13th with 322 points. French crossed in 23:06, seven second ahead of teammate Jamie Keown, who placed 48th.

OHS will compete in the Section Four State Qualifier on Thursday at Chenango Valley State Park. The girls will run at 11:30 a.m. The boys start at 12:30 p.m.
