O-State's DeSimone named SUNYAC Player of the Year


Miller helped lead O-State to a 149 1/2-91 1/2 victory against the College of St. Rose at home Friday. Miller compiled 18 points for the Red Dragons, as he won both sessions of diving on the 1-meter board. His first-round score of 303.15 was good enough to hit the NCAA qualifying mark in the event.

Miller holds three O-State school records in diving and has qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships twice.

Field Hockey

Hartwick College seniors Megan Lefeber and Holley Reynolds (Walton) were named to the first and second all-star teams, respectively, by the Empire 8 Conference.

Lefeber twice earned Empire 8 honorable mention status. This is her first appearance on the First Team. Lebefer finished with three goals and 10 assists.

Reynolds, also selected as Hartwick’s representative on the Sportswoman of the Year squad, is making her first appearance on the all-conference team.

She had one goal and two assists.

Hartwick finished its season at 5-13.
