Basketball camp runs July 7-11

Oneonta State will host its 11th annual Red Dragon Basketball Camp from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 7-11.

The camp, which has a 9-to-1 camper-to-coach ratio, is open to boys and girls ages 6-17.

Cost is $160 per camper and includes T-shirt and basketball. For more information, call O-State men’s basketball coach Vince Medici at 607-436-3280 or email him at Medicivj@oneonta.edu.

Soccer ref classes start July 16

Classes for high school soccer officials will run from 6-8 p.m. July 16 in Oneonta State’s Morris Conference Center.

OLL to offer Yankees trips

Oneonta Little League will offer two bus trips to Yankee Stadium this year, starting with New York’s July 19 home game against the Cincinnati Reds.

The OLL also will offer a trip to see the Yankees host the Cleveland Indians on Aug. 9.

Cost is $70 per person and includes bus transportation and one game ticket. To reserve a seat or for more information, email Terry Zimmer at tzimmer2@stny.rr.com.

O-State to host basketball camp

The Oneonta State women’s basketball team will host a developmental overnight/commuter camp for girls ages 10-18 from the evening of July 20 to 3 p.m. July 23.

Camp counselors will include present team members. The camp is designed to develop fundamentals. Daily activities include one-on-one and three-on-three instruction, fundamental stations and games.

Cost is $305 for overnight residents and $265 for commuters. A $35 non-refundable deposit is required with each application. Registration form, health form, payment and emergency contact information form are required to attend camp.
