Track meets begin Tuesday
The Hurley's Heroes Track Club of Oneonta and the Oneonta State Athletic Department will host Twilight Track and Field Meets at 7 p.m. this Tuesday, as well as July 8 and Aug. 5, at Oneonta State.
All meets will include competition in the mile (14-and-over), the 50-meter dash (14-and-under), the 100 (open), the 400 (open), the 3,000 (14-and-over), the 200 (open), the 800 (open) and the high jump (14-and-over, if facilities are available).

Soccer registration underway
Registration forms for the Oneonta Youth Soccer Association's fall recreational program have distributed throughout Oneonta City School District elementary schools and are due July 1.

Hall to host Authors Series
The National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown will host its annual Authors Series program this summer.
The program is included with regular admission. Baseball authors will appear in Cooperstown for special lectures and book signings in the Hall's Bullpen Theater at 2 p.m. on the following dates:
June 27: Stars and Strikes by Dan Epstein.
July 3: Miracle Mud & Baseball Mystery by David Kelly.
July 10: The Impossible Dream Season by Ray Sinibaldi.
July 17: The DiMaggios by Thomas Clavin.
July 26: 1954 by Bill Madden.
