Golf tournament June 8

Oneonta Professional Firefighters Local 2408 will host its fifth annual captain-and-crew golf tournament at 9 a.m. June 8 at the Ouleout Creek Golf Course.

Registration costs $280 per team or $70 per person and includes 18 holes, cart, food and prizes. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Greater Oneonta Football Association.

Trapper training course June 8

The Davenport Center VFW will host a NYS trapper training course from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. June 8.

Youth soccer registration open

Registration forms for Oneonta’s fall recreational soccer program are being distributed through the Oneonta elementary schools.

Forms also are available at the Latte Lounge on Main Street in Oneonta.

Golf events to benefit soccer club

The Headwaters Soccer Club will hold two charity golf tournaments to benefit its summer soccer camp program.

Both tournaments are scramble format. Golfers may register individually or as teams.

Entry fee is $60 and includes greens fees, cart and buffet. First-, second- and third-place teams will receive awards.

Registration open for adult soccer

The Latte Lounge Oneonta Adult Summer Soccer League is securing teams and players.

The league will begin play in mid-June and run until early August. There will be men’s and women’s divisions for ages 17 and up.
