Adult kickball event Saturday

The Oneonta Boys and Girls Club will host an adult kickball/barbecue fundraiser beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at the 6th Ward Booster Club.

Cost is $30 per player and includes barbecue and games. Proceeds will benefit the OBGC.

Players must be at least age 20. Rosters must have nine to 11 players and include at least two females. The total age per roster must be a minimum of 275 years.

Church golf event Saturday

The Presbyterian Church in Gilbertsville will host its 13th annual captain-and-crew golf tournament Saturday at Colonial Ridge Golf in Laurens.

The tournament will raise money from entry fees and hole sponsors, which are still available, to benefit the refurbishing project of the church sanctuary.

DC Women’s Amateur is Saturday

The Delhi College Golf Course will host the Delaware County Women’s Amateur Golf Tournament on Saturday.

The tournament, which features a championship division and five flights, is open to all Delaware County residents and non-residents who are members of Delaware County golf courses.

Entry fee is $60. Applications are available at Delaware County golf courses. For more information, call the Delhi College GC at 607-746-4653.

<\Bz18>Girls basketball camp starts Sunday

The Oneonta State women’s basketball team will host a developmental overnight/commuter camp for girls ages 10-18 from Sunday through Wednesday.

Team members will serve as counselor’s for the camp, which is designed to develop fundamentals.

Daily activities include 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 instruction, fundamental stations, and games.

Cost is $295 for residents (overnight) and $255 for commuters. A $35 non-refundable deposit is required with the application. Group discounts are available.
