Hartwick to hold youth camps

Hartwick College will host the following youth athletic camps this summer.

Sunday-July 27: Competitive Swimming Camp III (8-18).

Sunday-July 25: Field Hockey (12-18).

Thursday-July 28: Girls Volleyball (12-18).

July 28-Aug. 2: Springboard Diving (8-18).

<\Bz18>Youth football league seeks teams

The Boys of Fall Football League is seeking teams to join its full-contact league for the 2013 season.

The Tri-Valley Colts and the Richfield Indians play in the league, which started in 2011 and held its first season in 2012. Players ages 8-18 are eligible to participate.

Those who are interested in joining the league or who may need help fundraising to start a team should call Mindy at 607-437-9450.

<\Bz18>Soccer camps continue

The Headwaters Soccer Club is accepting registrations for its 2013 summer camps.

Camps will be held for boys and girls ages 7-17, including team camps.

Cost is $60 per camper per week. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and a water bottle.

The remaining camps run from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays on the following dates:

Monday-Friday: at Edmeston Central.

July 29-Aug. 2: at Mine Kill State Park.

Aug. 5-9: at Oneonta State.

<\Bz18>O-State track meet set for Tuesday

The Hurley’s Heroes Track Club of Oneonta will host its final Twilight Track & Field Meet of the summer at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Oneonta State.

All ages are welcome to compete at the meet, which is free.

Events include the 50-meter dash, 100, 200, 400, 800, mile, 3,000 and possibly the high jump.

<\Bz18>Lacrosse camp begins Wednesday

SUNY Delhi will host the High Octane Lacrosse Camp for boys ages 8-18 from Wednesday-July 27.
