Cristina Chiarappa went 5-for-5, hit for the cycle and had five RBIs for visiting Roxbury, which cruised to victory in the Delaware League.

Chiarappa led off the game with a home run.

Winning pitcher Shannon Sprague and Kennedy Faraci had two hits apiece. Sprague struck out 10 and walked none over four innings.

Savannah Hobbie doubled for South Kortright (0-2, 0-1), which will travel to Jefferson on Wednesday.

Kaileen Townsend threw a two-hitter and homered to left-center in the fourth inning to lead visiting Downsville in the Delaware League.

Townsend struck out seven and walked three. Her home run gave the Eagles a 2-0 lead.

Samantha Dibbell had six strikeouts for Hunter-Tannersville (0-3, 0-1), which will travel to Gilboa today.

Jenna Lutz struck out eight and went 3-for-4 in Davenport’s Delaware League road victory.

Emily Whipple hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning, and Sam Maidens had two hits and two RBIs for the Wildcats (2-1, 2-0), who will visit Roxbury on Friday.

Elissa Starheim had three hits for Jefferson.
