Oneonta High graduates hurt O-State in softball


Cobleskill's women earned nine NYSCTC qualifiers and one Eastern College Athletic Conference mark in the non-scoring event.

Princess Joefield hit automatic qualifying times for both championship meets in the 100 hurdles, placing fourth in 15.68. She also had an NYSCTC automatic mark in the 400 hurdles, finishing fifth in 1:07.55.

The Fighting Tigers also got NYSCTC provisional qualifying efforts from Quashanda Barnes (high jump, 4-9.75 and 400 hurdles, 1:11.38); Arel Merceron (100 hurdles, 16.96); Rebecca Brower (discus, 95-2 and hammer throw, 104-5); and Stephanie Henzler (discus, 89-2 and hammer throw, 110-8).

Cobleskill will compete this Saturday in the Capital District Classic at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute.
