Kozak's cycle leads Sidney to MAC win

Gilboa snapped a 6-all tie with five runs in the top of the seventh inning en route to a Delaware League victory.

Christian Cooper went 2-for-4 with four RBIs and got the pitching victory in relief for the Wildcats.

Mike Lennon had two hits, two runs and an RBI for the Warriors, who received two hits and two RBIs from Subaru Honge.

Edmeston 8, Milford 3

Clayton Lyon had two hits and an RBI as host Edmeston won in the Tri-Valley League.

Lyon hit an RBI triple in the third inning to give the Panthers a 5-1 advantage.

Logan Vibbard had two hits, two RBIs and three stolen bases for Edmeston (5-0, 4-0), which hosts Richfield Springs today.

Schenevus 8, G-MU 1

Zach Schallert scored three times and stole three bases to pace Schenevus in a Tri-Valley League win at home.

Winning pitcher Adam Kruh struck out seven, walked none and allowed one run on three hits in five innings. Robert Burton followed with two innings of hitless relief. He struck out five and walked none for the Dragons (4-2, 4-1), who visit Franklin today.

Losing pitcher Austin Burnside struck out 10 and walked two.

GOLFat Delhi College GC

Brenon Maynard’s 41 paced Unadilla Valley in a 243-256 victory over host Walton at the Delhi College Golf Course.

Eric Zimmerman shot a 44 to lead the Warriors (1-2), who visit Oxford on Tuesday.

at Bluestone GC

Joe Burgin shot a 2-over-par 36 to lead Delhi to a 220-257 defeat of host Oxford at the Bluestone Golf Course. Ben Arehart and Connor Gioffe contributed 44s for the Bulldogs (3-0).

Jake McConnell’s 40 paced Oxford (0-3).

at MVCC

Teddy Trosset shot a 45, but Cooperstown lost a road match to Herkimer, 188-216, at Mohawk Valley Community College.

Ryan Stillwell earned medalist honors with a 42 for Herkimer (4-1).
