Youth conditioning program set

The Oneonta Family YMCA will host a sports conditioning program for youths ages 11-14 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Registration is required for the program, which runs from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Center Street School gymnasium and ends this Thursday.

A one-time application fee of $20 is also required. To sign up or for more information, visit the Oneonta Family YMCA or call 607-432-0010.

Roller derby bout Friday

The Oneonta Derailing Darlings will take on the Finger Lakes Lunachicks in a roller derby event at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Interskate 88 in Oneonta. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door and cost $8 for general admission and $5 for students, senior citizens, and children under 12. A portion of the proceeds will support The Rat Snake, a reverse triathlon in memory of Dr. Ken Stalter.

Outlaws to host pro wrestling

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley will headline the Oneonta Outlaws’ Rumble on the Mound, a professional wrestling fundraiser slated for 2 p.m. May 3 at Damaschke Field in Oneonta.

The best-selling author and winner of 17 wrestling championships in his lengthy career, Foley will host the event to benefit the defending New York Collegiate Baseball League champion Outlaws.

The Honky Tonk Man, Johnny Valiant and Steve Corino also are scheduled to appear. The rumble also features a 12-man battle royal.

Milford to host tourney May 3

The Milford Booster Club and the Milford softball team will host their annual softball tournament and chicken barbecue May 3.
