Austin Burnside's two-hit, three-RBI night included an RBI single during Gilbertsville-Mount Upton's four-run third inning that helped the Raiders to a Tri-Valley League victory.

The Raiders (3-9, 3-8) led, 6-1, after three innings.

Andrew Baker and Nate O'Hara had two hits apiece for the Raiders. Winning pitcher Christian Merlo struck out three and walked one over six innings.

Jared Benjamin and Robert Polin had two hits apiece for Laurens.

G-MU will travel to Franklin today, but the Raiders will hit second.

Davenport 15, Jefferson 0

Winning pitcher Cody Wamsley struck out nine over five innings and Kyle Wamsley had three hits, two runs and two RBIs to lead visiting Davenport in the Delaware League.

Kyle Wamsley doubled and tripled, and Chris Kopf hit a two-run double in the fourth inning for the Wildcats.

Cody Wamsley and Gavin Cobb combined on a two-hitter, the first coming on a double by Tyler Mead in the second inning.

Jefferson (1-9, 1-8) will host Milford today.

Morris 9, Worcester 1

Robert Childs went 3-for-4, including a two-run double in the fifth inning, to help host Morris to its first victory of the season in the Tri-Valley League.

Morris, which finished its season at 1-13, led, 5-1, after five innings.

Sam Ernst worked the first five innings and earned his first varsity victory.

Cam Best contributed two hits for the Mustangs.

UV 8, Greene 6

Dakota Kolvik hit an RBI double, and Austin Lewis and Nate Shackleton followed with RBI singles during a three-run sixth-inning that lifted host Unadilla Valley to victory in a first-round game of the Midstate Athletic Conference 5-8 tournament.

Kolvik's RBI double tied the score at 6. He finished 3-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases. Lewis had two hits and two RBIs.

UV (10-5) will host Deposit in the 5-8 final Wednesday.
