Mark Cordner struck out eight, but visiting Bainbridge-Guilford fell in a first-round game of the Midstate Athletic Conference 5-8 tournament.
Trenton Curtis scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. He walked, stole second and evetually scored on a passed ball.
B-G's Ryan Jones scored the tying run in the top of the seventh. He singled to left, went to third on an error and scored on a sacrifice fly by Cole Webb.
Deposit (8-7) will visit fifth-seeded Unadilla Valley on Wednesday in the 5-8 final.
B-G will play Greene in the 5-8 consolation game Wednesday.
Afton 3, Walton 2
Visiting Afton scored three times in the top of the first inning en route to a victory in the opening round of the MAC 9-12 Tournament.
Austin Ticknor and Matt Olin had RBI singles in the first, when Afton scored a third run on a passed ball.
Ticknor struck out seven and walked one in a four-hitter for the 11th-seeded Crimson Knights, who were held to five hits by Walton starter Steven Klein. He struck out nine and walked none.
"I tip my cap to both pitchers," said Walton coach Gary Backus, whose 4-9 team will host Delhi in the MAC 9-12 consolation game at 4:30 p.m. today.
The 10th-seeded Warriors rallied with two runs in the sixth but fell short. Trevor Zandt had an RBI single in the sixth, which also featured a sacrifice fly by Klein.
Roxbury 10, H-T 9
Sam Nash went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Roxbury, which scored four times in the sixth inning and held on for a Delaware League road victory.
Stan Sutton singled to lead off the bottom of the seventh, then stole second and third for Hunter-Tannersville (1-10, 1-8). Jacob Davis then got two strikeouts and a pop out to first to secure the victory for Roxbury, which won despite finishing with three hits.
