Unadilla MX announces schedule

Unadilla MX in New Berlin will continue to celebrate its 45th anniversary with the remaining events on its 2014 schedule.

May 30-June 1: MX Rewind Vintage MX Weekend.

June 22: District 3 MX.

July 11-13: ATV National Weekend.

Aug. 8-10: Pro National MX Weekend.

Sept. 6-7: Grand National Cross Country.

OLL to offer Yankees trips

Oneonta Little League will offer two bus trips to Yankee Stadium this year, starting with New York’s July 19 home game against the Cincinnati Reds.

The OLL also will offer a trip to see the Yankees host the Cleveland Indians on Aug. 9.

Cost is $70 per person and includes bus transportation and one game ticket. OLL players, families and sponsors may request tickets now. Tickets will be available to the general public June 1.

Walton awards night June 2

The Walton Central School annual sports awards night will start at 6 p.m. June 2 in the high school auditorium. All varsity teams will be recognized.

OHS awards night June 4

Oneonta High will host its 68th annual Varsity “O” Athletic Awards Evening at 7 p.m. June 4 in the OHS cafeteria.

All varsity teams will be recognized. All athletes and their families are invited to attend.

Special awards include the Male and Female Athletes of the Year and the Anthony C. Drago, Herb Burchell, Carl J. Delberta, E.C. Dutch Damaschke, Cathy Lynch Patron to Athletics and Service and Athletics awards.
