Soccer camps begin June 30
The Headwaters Summer Soccer Camp will celebrate its 25th year this summer with seven camps for boys and girls ages 7-17 as well as team camps.
Camps cost $60 per week and run from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays during the summer. Campers will receive a T-shirt and a water bottle.
The following is a list of the camps:
June 30-July 4: at Otego American Legion Post 1555.
July 7-11: at Worcester Central School.
July 14-18: at Mine Kill State Park.
July 21-25: at Mine Kill State Park.
July 28-Aug. 1: at Edmeston Central.
Aug. 4-8: at Mine Kill State Park.
Aug. 11-15: at Oneonta State.

Softball school starts June 30
The 6th Ward All County Softball School will run from 9 a.m.-noon June 30-July 3 at Field 4 in Neahwa Park.
The school is for players ages 9-17 and will focus on fundamentals of pitching, hitting, fielding and base running.

Delhi to host swim program
The SUNY Delhi summer swim program for children and adults will begin June 30.
Water Aerobics Classes will be held from 4:15-5:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays during the summer at a cost of $45 per person. Swim practices will be from noon-1 p.m., lap swim from 1-1:30 p.m., and open swim from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.
Community swimming lessons will be offered from 9 a.m.-noon in the Kunsela Hall pool. Classes include American Red Cross Levels I-VI, Basic Water Rescue, infant/toddler/preschoolers program and a Level VI diving class. Swim team practice also is available.
To participate in Community Swimming Lessons, Delhi, Bovina and Meredith residents should contact their village clerk to register for free enrollment. Hamden residents should contact their town or village clerk to register for one three-week session with a cost of $15 per child, payable to Hamden Town Clerk. Proof of residency is required. Non-residents may participate at a cost of $45 per person per session.
