The league is for players 17 and older, and offers an opportunity for high school and college players, coaches and adults to participate.

Charity golf tourneys set

The Headwaters Soccer Club will hold two charity golf tournaments to benefit its summer soccer camp program.

The 21st annual Hank Hotaling Charity Golf Tournament will start at 2 p.m. June 21 at the Stamford Golf Club.

The sixth annual Ouleout Creek Charity Golf Tournament will start at 1 p.m. Aug. 10 in Franklin.

Both tournaments are scramble format. Players may register as teams or individuals. Entry fee is $60 per person and includes greens fees, cart and buffet.

First-, second- and third-place teams will receive awards.

Soccer tournament has openings

The World Cup Festival has team openings for its soccer tournaments, which will run from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. June 22 at Neahwa Park in Oneonta.

The festival is seeking two girls modified teams (ages 12-15) and two adult teams (ages 19-and-older).

Each team will field six players and have a maximum roster of 10. Registration deadline is June 1.

Trophies for first- and second-place teams will be awarded at 5 p.m. June 22, followed by an exhibition match featuring former professional soccer players and selected players from the tournament.

Unadilla MX sets schedule

Unadilla MX in New Berlin will continue to celebrate its 45th anniversary with the remaining events on its 2014 schedule.

June 22: District 3 MX.
