The Mavericks improved to 3-0.
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association named Oneonta State senior Ashley Johnson and junior Ashley Morgan as All-Americans, the Red Dragons announced Tuesday.
The honors bring O-State’s all-time field hockey All-American total to eight.
Morgan earned Second Team All-American accolades in becoming O-State’s third two-time winner and the first since O-State Hall of Famer Eileen Colwell went back-to-back in 1992 and 1993. Morgan led Oneonta (12-7) this past fall with 33 points, on 13 goals and seven assists.
Johnson made the Third Team, following a season that included 30 points, on nine goals and a team-best 12 assists.
The two First Team All-SUNY Athletic Conference players became eligible for All-American status after being named to the North Atlantic All-Region First Team last week.
