OHS girls rout CV


Windham 6, Jefferson 2

Samantha Simpfenderfer scored three goals to lead Windham to a road win in the Delaware League.

The Warriors scored four times in the first 18 minutes to take a 4-0 lead, with Simpfenderfer getting the first three.

The first goal came five minutes into the half.

Hannah Exum and Natalie Vining also contributed goals for Windham, which took 24 shots. Shania Steenburgh stopped 18 of them for Jefferson (0-7).

The J-Hawks host Stamford Friday to close out their season.


Oneonta 3, SV 0

Krissy Wells had 27 assists and Brittney Herrick finished with 13 kills to lead Oneonta High to a 25-11, 25-15, 25-22 Southern Tier Athletic Conference victory.

Amelia Spaziani contributed six aces for the Yellowjackets (9-2, 9-2), who play host to Johnson City on Thursday.
