Outlaws down Salt Cats, 6-4

Oneonta rallied for five runs in the bottom of the fifth against Funkstown, a game called after five innings because the game reached its two-hour limit.

Trailing, 8-1, heading into the bottom of the fifth, Moxley’s two-run triple made it 8-3. Wright tripled in a run to make it 8-5 and scored on an error to bring Oneonta to 8-6. The Green Wave then loaded the bases before the inning ended.

Giallanzo had half of Oneonta’s six hits in the loss to Calvert.

The Green Wave (13-11) will play Oxford-Norwich in a District Six game at 6 p.m. today at Oneonta High.
