Outlaws clinic is today
The annual Meet the Outlaws youth baseball clinic will run from 10 a.m.-noon today at Damaschke Field in Oneonta.
Uniformed Oneonta Outlaws’ players and coaches will run the clinic, which is designed for youths ages 5-12. Children should come dressed to play with a hat, a glove and and sneakers or rubber/plastic cleats. Children may bring items for autographs as well.

Hartwick to hold youth camps
Hartwick College will host the following youth athletic camps this summer.
July 13-16: College Prep Soccer Camp for Elite Boys II (15-19).
July 13-17: Soccer Development & Skills Camp II (ages 9-18).
July 14-17: Junior Hawks Soccer Camp Session II (4-8).
July 14-18: Boys Basketball (8-18).
July 14-20: Competitive Swimming Camp II (8-18).
July 21-27: Competitive Swimming Camp III (8-18).
July 21-25: Field Hockey (12-18).
July 25-28: Girls Volleyball (12-18).
July 28-Aug. 2: Springboard Diving (8-18).

Hunter education courses set
The Davenport Fire Dept. will host a NYS hunter education course from 5-8:30 p.m. Aug. 5, 7 and 8. Class size is limited to 35 students. To register, call Losie’s Gun Shop at 607-432-6452.
On Aug. 18, West End Archery in Oneonta will host a NYS bowhunter education course from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Class size is limited to 25 students. To register, call 607-432-4947.
O-State track meets continue
The Hurley’s Heroes Track Club of Oneonta will host one more Twilight Track & Field Meets this summer at Oneonta State.
The last one will begin at 7 p.m. July 23 and it is free. All ages are welcome.
Events include the 50-meter dash, 100, 200, 400, 800, mile, 3,000 and possibly the high jump.
YMCA/Outlaws 5K is today
The Oneonta Family YMCA/Oneonta Outlaws 5K Fun Run will start at 5:50 p.m. today outside Damaschke Field in Neahwa Park.
Race-night registration and bib pick-up runs from 4-5:30 p.m. All timing will end at 6:45 p.m., 15 minutes before the start of the Outlaws’ baseball game that night.
