Afton 14, Harpursville 2

Connor Decker went 3-for-4 with five RBIs to lead Afton to a MAC victory at home.

Winning pitcher Cassidy Phillips (6-1) struck out 12 and walked one in a two-hitter.

Phillips also had two hits for the Crimson Knights (8-1, 6-0), who got a triple in a 3-for-4 effort from Payton Cutting.

Afton hosts Oxford on Friday.

Jordan Anderson hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning, but Unadilla Valley lost a MAC game at home Tuesday.

Anderson also tripled for the Storm (0-7), who received an RBI single in the fifth from Jennifer Elliott.

Carissa Warren, Taylor Hendrikson and Courtney Hardy (two doubles) had three hits apiece for the Hornets (4-3), who got a six-hitter from Erika Whitney.

Worcester 5, Morris 3

Monica Ridgeway scattered three hits and struck out seven to lead host Worcester to a victory in the Tri-Valley League.

Worcester scored four runs in the sixth to earn the come-from-behind victory. Freshman Christina Clements hit an RBI single with two out to put Worcester ahead for good.

Kristina Walsh finished 3-for-3 with an RBI and teammate Jillian Perrillo tripled and doubles in a 2-for-2 effort for the Wolverines (6-2, 5-2).

Haley Wist and McKenna Hungerford each doubled for Morris.

Worcester hosts Edmeston on Friday.
