G-MU 1, Franklin 1

Brandon Lindenthaler’s goal with 44 seconds left in regulation lifted host Gilbertsville-Mount Upton into a tie in the Tri-Valley League on Tuesday.

It marked the opening game for both teams. It was also Steven Antczak’s first game as G-MU’s coach.

Lindenthaler’s tying goal came from just outside the 18-yard penalty box.
