Catholic Charities of Delaware and Otsego counties will hold its fifth annual golf tournament at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Oneonta Country Club.
Entry fee is $75 per golfer and includes golf, cart and buffet. All proceeds will benefit Catholic Charities.
Entry forms are available at the Catholic Charities office at 176 Main Street in Oneonta, at the Oneonta Country Club, and online at www.charitiesccdo.org.

Trapper training course Saturday
The Cherry Valley Fish and Game Club will host a NYS Trapper Training Course from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Youth football sign-ups Saturday
Oneonta Youth Football sign-ups will run from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Elementary.
Players must be age 8 by Dec. 1 and cannot turn 13 before Sept. 1. Seventh-graders are not eligible to participate.
A copy of the player’s birth certificate and a $25 insurance fee is required.
Practices begin at the end of August. Games are played in September and October.

Bassett to offer seminar
The Bassett Healthcare Network will offer a free seminar on joint health for athletes from 6-8 p.m. May 14 at its Wellness Conference Room at FoxCare Center on Route 7 in Oneonta.
Bassett’s Department of Orthopedics and Shoulder and Sports Medicine Research Institute will run the seminar, which includes a presentation, discussion and audience question-and-answer session on joint health for high school and college athletes.
Dr. Jocelyn Wittstein will address shoulder instability and elbow injuries in throwers. Dr. Tally Lassiter will discuss common knee sports injuries, such as ACL tears and patellar dislocations.
The seminar also will address injury prevention, surgical treatments, strengthening and rehabilitation, and safe return to play time.

Clinton HOF inductions May 25
The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual General Clinton Canoe Regatta Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on May 25.
The ceremony will start with a meet-and-greet event from 3-4 p.m. at General Clinton Park in Bainbridge. Dinner will follow the meet-and-greet. Tickets are limited, cost $25 per person and must be ordered by Friday. Dinner tickets include reserved seating for the ensuing Induction Ceremony, which will be open to the public as standing room only.
The Bruce Beadle Band will play until the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Registration open for adult soccer
The Latte Lounge Oneonta Adult Summer Soccer League is securing teams and players.
The league will begin play in mid-June and run until early August. There will be men’s and women’s divisions for ages 17 and up.

Milford Cat Classic 5K is June 15
The Milford Booster Club will host the Cat Classic 5K Run and Walk on June 15.
Registration runs from 9-10 a.m. in the Milford Central parking lot. The race starts at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Milford Central driveway on 42 West Main St. and ends on the track finish line.
Cost to pre-register (by June 13) is $15 per person or $45 per family. Registration on race day is $20 per person. No family rate is available on race day.

Softball school runs June 24-27
The 6th Ward All County Softball School will run from 9 a.m.-noon June 24-27 at Ted Christman Field in Neahwa Park.
The school is for players ages 9-17 and teaches fundamentals of pitching, hitting, fielding and base running.

Youth soccer camps start in June
The Headwaters Soccer Club is accepting registrations for its 2013 summer camps.
Seven camps will be held for boys and girls ages 7-17, including team camps.
Cost is $60 per camper per week. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and a water bottle.
The camps run from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday on the following dates:
June 24-28: at Otego American Legion Post 1555.
July 1-5: at Worcester Central.
July 8-12: at Mine Kill State Park.
July 15-19: at Mine Kill State Park.
July 22-26: at Edmeston Central.
July 29-Aug. 2: at Mine Kill State Park.
