Anna Torri’s goal off a pass from Forbragd made it 2-0 with 21/2 minutes left. Krista Servedio made six saves for O-State.
Against Cedar Crest, the Red Dragons scored nine first-half goals.
Andrea Day scored 1:07 into play off a pass from Ashley Morgan. Two minutes later, the same two connected again, with Day scoring her second goal.
Walton graduate Erin Butler, Torri and Tatum Knapp scored two goals apiece.
O-State (2-0) will host Hamilton at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Hartwick 3, Marywood 1
Walton graduate Holley Reynolds scored on a penalty stroke in the 24th minute to give host Hartwick a 1-0 lead in its non-conference victory Saturday. It was the season opener for both teams.
Hartwick selected Reynolds as one of its Hawks of the Week on Monday.
Hiliary Carlson set up Lauren Crimi’s goal to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Kathrybn Morin made it 2-1 for Marywood late in the first half, but Carlson scored with 30:50 left for the Hawks.
The second half included two weather delays because of lightning. Hartwick finished with advantages of 16-3 in shots and 6-1 in penalty corners.
The Hawks will visit Rensselaer at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Ian Wilson and Travis Deuel shot rounds of 73 and 74, respectively, to lead Cobleskill to a third-place finish in the Utica College Fall Invitational on Saturday at the par-72 Skenandoa Golf Club.
The Fighting Tigers finished with 306 strokes, their lowest as an NCAA Division III member.
Wilson, a freshman, finished tied for fourth out of 53 players. Deuel, a senior, tied for sixth.
Cobleskill will compete in the Tim Brown Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Saratoga Springs.
Oneonta State split a pair of five-set matches Saturday on the final day of the 44th annual Oneonta Invitational.
The Red Dragons finished the tournament 3-1.
