Schenevus 2, SK 2
Shootout goals by Dave Vosatka, Corey Roseboom and Jacob Darling allowed Schenevus to advance in a second-round game of the Stamford Mayor’s Cup after it tied South Kortright, 2-2.
The Dragons won the shootout, 3-1.
“It was a back-and-forth game,” Rams coach Bob VanValkenburgh said. “It was a good game.”
Dylan Boest scored the lone goal of the first half for SK. Ty Magnan then gave the Rams a 2-0 cushion one minute into the second half, converting a crossing pass from Dan Nelson from 12 yards.
Vosatka halved Schenevus’ deficit before Darling tied it with 17 minutes left in regulation. Darling scored from 6 yards after controlling a loose ball in the box.
The Rams held a 17-6 advantage in shots. Schenevus keeper Robert Burton made 13 saves.
SK (1-0-1) will host Gilboa today.
Davenport 7, Stamford 0
Michael Libby and Cody Wamsley scored two goals apiece to lead Davenport to a second-round victory in the Stamford Mayor’s Cup.
Each also had an assist for the Wildcats, who got a goal and two assists from Kyle Moorby.
Chris Kopf made two saves in the shutout fo Davenport, which will play Schenevus at 8 p.m. Saturday for the championship. Stamford (1-1) will play South Kortright on Saturday in the consolation game.
Gilboa 4, Laurens 0
Patrick Kuzma scored two goals to lead Gilboa to a victory in the Stamford Mayor’s Cup.
Brett Potter and Hunter Grace contributed a goal apiece for the Wildcats (1-1), who play Roxbury on Saturday.
Cody White had 15 saves for Laurens, which plays Jefferson on Saturday.
Roxbury 6, Jefferson 0
Kris Walcutt scored four goals as Roxbury cruised to a victory in the Stamford Mayor’s Cup.
Joe McAfee and Tristian Mulder each scored for the Rockets (1-2), who faces Gilboa on Saturday.
Jefferson (0-2) plays Laurens on Saturday.

Derek Beers scored two goals to lead the Purple Devils to victory in the Campbell Tournament consolation game at Downsville.
